Garbage/Recycling

Waste management is operated through the Municipality of Pembina. Currently, household waste and Recycling in Darlingford, Manitou and La Riviere is picked up curbside weekly. However each community is picked up on different days, please click on the links below for more information. 
 
Waste is collected at container sites located at Darlingford, La Riviere and Manitou. It is then transported to S.W.A.M.P.

Recycling Tips:
  • Please clean all plastic containers
  • Flatten boxes to Save Space
  • Extra Blue Boxes for Manitou Residents are available at the Municipal Office 360 PTH 3
  • If you have missed your pickup day and wish to dispose of your waste and recycling products or have excess products please deposit them at the Dumpster sites during the hours below or a walk in gate is available 24hrs a day.

 SUMMER HOURS May 1 - October 31 WINTER HOURS  - November 1 - April 30
 Tuesdays 6pm - 8pm Saturdays  12pm - 3pm
 Saturdays 9am - 3pm  
**Manitou, La Riviere, & Darlingford Dumpster Sites will be open the same days and hours and be supervised.**
