In the Municipality of Pembina there are various services available for seniors in Manitou, La Riviere, and Darlingford.
Services to Seniors offers a Congregate Meal Program at the Kinsmen Haven and the Pembina Manitou Place (55+) within Manitou, and at the Lodge in La Riviere. Meal delivery is also available.
We provide meals 5 days a week.
- Monday and Friday the congregate meals are served in the 55+ or they can be delivered to your home.
- Tuesday and Thursday the congregate meals are served in the Haven or they can be delivered to your home.
- Wednesday the meals are served in La Riviere at the lodge or delivered to residents of La Riviere.
To order meals, please call Catherine or Jessica at the office between Monday and Friday. Meals must be ordered by noon the day prior.

Meal tickets are $10.00 each and can be purchased at the Services to Seniors office located beside the Opera House at 315 Main St.in Manitou. Cash or cheque only. No debit available.
Services to Seniors offers help accessing services such as but not limited to: house cleaning, yard work, snow removal, foot care, transportation, grocery delivery, advocacy, completing forms/referrals, and various planned activities throughout the month.
We loan a variety of mobility equipment for short term usage and gratefully accept donations for use when it is offered. We cannot guarantee a specific item as availability depends on community demand.
The Pembina Community Resource Council is comprised of volunteers from the communities who have dedicated their time and energy to help provide our community through Services to Seniors with programs, and activities which will benefit the lives of our community seniors.
Services to Seniors is located at 315 Main Street, Manitou. Our work hours are Monday 8:30a.m. – 4:00p.m. and Tuesday through Friday 8:30a.m. – 5:00p.m. Someone is usually in the office Monday through Friday from 8:30a.m. – 10:30a.m. and the staff may go out in the community after 10:30a.m. Best to call the office to make sure someone is there if you are planning to drop in.
