HISTORY ARTS AND CULTURE
Make sure to visit the Nellie McClung Heritage Site and the only two of Nellie's Homes in Canada that are open to the public. Located at the corner of Main Street and PTH #3 in Manitou, the homes allow you to walk in Nellie's footsteps during a time when so much of what she accomplished as a teacher, best selling Canadian author and champion of women's right took flight. Enjoy guided tours through McClung House, Hazel Cottage and the historic Log House, which serves as a museum, admission centre and gift shop. Open May to September.
