Rules
GENERAL RULES
- Lifeguards have complete authority. Please respect their decisions.
 - Shower before entering the pool.
 - Swimming suites must be worn.
 - Any patrons not complying may be removed from the swimming premesis
 - Babies must wear " Little Swimmer" diapers
 - Please walk on deck.
 - Individuals over the age of 12 may attend unsupervised.
 - One long blast of the whistle means to get onto the pool deck as quickly as possible.
 - NO SMOKING, VAPING, ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES, SUNFLOWER SEEDS, OR GLASS CONTAINERS.
 - Respect your fellow swimmers and refrain from hazardous play.
 - NO DIVING during public swimming. All entries must be made in a feet-first fashion.
 
SHALLOW END RULES
- NO diving is permitted. All entries must be made in a feet-first fashion.
 - Please refrain from placing individuals atop of the shoulders.
 - Flips off the side of the pool deck are not permitted.
 
WATER SLIDE RULES
	The Little Dipper (Blue Slide) 
	- Slide at your own risk
 - Toddlers sliding alone MUST be supervised by a guardian
 - Ensure water area below slide is clear before sliding
 - NO LOITERING at top of slide.
 - Leave the water area at bottom of slide as quickly as possible
 - Riders must ride FEET FIRST and FACE UP
 
 The Twister (Yellow Slide)
		- Slide at your own risk
 - Toddlers sliding alone MUST be supervised by a guardian
 - Ensure water area below slide is clear before sliding
 - NO LOITERING at top of slide
 - Leave the water area at bottom of slide as quickly as possible
 - Riders must ride FEET FIRST and FACE UP
 
- Slide at your own risk.
 - Riders under the age of 18 must have today’s wristband on in order to ride
 - Wristbands are given to patrons who swim 4 widths of the pool on their front, under lifeguard supervision
 - SINGLE riders only per lane
 - Ensure water area below is clear before sliding
 - NO LOITERING at top of slide
 - Leave the water area at the bottom of the slide as quickly as possible
 - Riders must ride FEET FIRST and FACE UP
 - NO individual wearing a life-jacket can ride the slide
 
THREE STRIKE POLICY
			- When a swimmer has broken a rule a strike may be issued by a lifeguard
 
- If a pool patron breaks a rule for the first time, the lifeguard will issue them a warning and show them the policy
 - The patron will be asked to leave the facility for the remainder of the day
 
- If a pool patron is issued a second strike, the patron will be asked to leave the facility for the remainder of the day
 - The lifeguard will call the patron's parents to inform them of the policy and warn that the swimmer has one strike remaining as well as what would happen if a third rule violation occurs
 
- If a pool patron is issued a third strike, the patron will be asked to exit the facility for the duration of the day and will not be allowed to return without a parent present
 - The patron's parents will be called to inform them of the policy
