Swim Team

Manitou and Community Pool is home to our local swim team, the Manitou Stingrays. This is a great way to improve swimming techniques and stay fit for anyone ages 5-17. Members can choose whether they want to compete with the competitive swimmers, where they will attend meets in various Manitoba communities, including our own, on Sunday mornings throughout July and August.

We offer two clubs, a pre-competitive (also known as The Younger Club) and competitive club (also known as the Older Club). The pre-competitive club will practice once a week, on Tuesdays's, and the swimmer has to have passed Red Cross Swim Kids Level 3. The competitive club will practice twice a week, on Tuesday's and Wednesday's, and the swimmer has to have passed Red Cross Swim Kids Level 5.
