Lessons

The Manitou & Community Pool offers 5 Lesson Sessions throughout the summer. One 2-week Session and Four 1-week Intensive Sessions. The dates vary from year to year so please check back or call the Municipal Office or Pool for more information.

Red Cross Preschool Swimming Lessons
At Manitou and Community Pool, our Preschool lessons are not pass/fail, but based on age and participation. The recommended ages for each level indicated, however children that will be 5 years within the current calendar year can be registered for Level 1. For Duck and Sea Turtle, parents should accompany their children in the water.

Red Cross Swim Kids Swimming Lessons

At Manitou and Community Pool, our swim kids lessons are deemed complete or incomplete. If a level is complete, the swimmer can move to the next, however if the level is incomplete, they should repeat the level. Children that will be 5 years old within the current calendar year can be registered for Level 1.
